About this role:
We are seeking a seasoned Front-End Developer with deep expertise in email development and marketing automation to join our enterprise digital team. This individual will be instrumental in building scalable, high-quality digital experiences across email and web, while continuously driving automation and efficiency across our production processes. You will work within a highly collaborative environment to support marketing campaigns that reach millions of users and uphold our brand's digital excellence.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and execute customer experience solutions for online applications and websites
- Manage the design, creation, and production of customers experience elements from product concept through completion, including product updates and revisions
- Develop and execute customer experience solutions by employing a broad array of user centered design tools including customer experience brief, site strategy, wireframes or visual mockups, site layouts, site maps, taxonomies navigation schematics, task flows, design briefs, key screens, templates, prototypes
- Review and analyze high profile or complex projects and may lead projects or teams of user centered design specialists
- Develop new research and tests theories that lead to alternative, leading edge design solutions
- Analyze relevant internal and external sites and consult standards and guidelines as well as policies to determine best practices
- Exercise independent judgment to guide risk deliverables
- Design, develop, test, and refine prototypes
- Resolve moderately complex issues
- Lead team to meet key milestone deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of business, user, and technical requirements
- Create and monitor schedules to ensure timely effective program execution
- Develop and oversee planning and execution of projects, production schedules, and quality assurance
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- 4+ years of Online and Digital Product Design, Information Sciences, Graphic, and Visual Arts experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Candidate must be a graduate of a bachelor's degree or higher
- 4 years of front-end development experience in an enterprise or agency setting
- Strong HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills with a proven track record of email and landing page development
- Deep experience in enterprise marketing platforms such as Eloqua, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Adobe Campaign
- Strong understanding of marketing automation logic, dynamic content, segmentation, and data personalization techniques
- Experience with accessibility (ADA/WCAG 2.1 AAA), cross-browser/email client compatibility, and responsive frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation)
- Familiarity with Git-based version control, collaborative development environments, and agile workflows
- Ability to think strategically, automate workflows, and contribute to global code standards and practices
- This will be on a graveyard shift
- Front-End Development for Email & Web
- Build and maintain responsive emails, landing pages, paid media assets, and other digital experiences using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies.
- Develop within enterprise-level platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Eloqua, and WordPress.
- Accurately implement tracking and measurement codes, UTM parameters, and campaign tagging in coordination with analytics and data teams.
- Translate complex design specifications into pixel-perfect, accessible front-end solutions, including rich media and dynamic personalization.
- Automation & Workflow Optimization
- Identify, implement, and scale automation strategies to reduce manual effort in email and web production processes.
- Leverage scripting, dynamic content modules, reusable templates, and platform-specific tools (e.g., content blocks in Eloqua or Salesforce) to drive efficiency.
- Build and maintain component libraries and design systems to support a modular, reusable development approach.
- Continuously assess and improve upstream and downstream workflows, including QA, testing, deployment, and analytics integration.
- Scalable Code and Library Management
- Create and evolve shared code repositories, reusable modules, and front-end frameworks to promote consistency across teams and campaigns.
- Enforce enterprise-level standards for accessibility, mobile responsiveness, and cross-platform compatibility.
- Document and maintain development guidelines to ensure sustainability and ease of onboarding for new developers.
- Enterprise Collaboration & Communication
- Operate within agile, sprint-based environments with cross-functional partners across strategy, design, QA, analytics, and marketing.
- Provide realistic effort estimates, flag technical dependencies, and proactively communicate risks or blockers.
- Participate in enterprise-wide front-end governance to influence technical standards, evaluate tools, and ensure platform compliance.
- Continuous Learning & Mentorship
- Stay current with front-end, email development, and martech trends, with an emphasis on automation and personalization capabilities.
- Champion enterprise best practices in development and mentor other team members in scalable, efficient front-end solutions.
- Contribute to training documentation, internal toolkits, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
