Responsibilities
- Analyze competitive pricing data from various internal and external sources
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Monitor market trends, pricing changes, and competitor strategies to identify opportunities and risks.
- Work closely with pricing, product, and category teams to support pricing strategy and decision-making with data-driven insights.
- Create and maintain dashboards to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Use SQL to query large datasets, validate data quality, and perform exploratory analysis.
- Continuously seek ways to improve data quality, analytical processes, and efficiency of data collection.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for automated extraction, cleaning, and updating of pricing and product data
Expected Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in a quantitative discipline
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, ideally within the e-commerce or retail sector.
- Demonstrated ability to work with large, complex datasets, uncover trends, and translate data into actionable insights.
- A critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a natural curiosity to explore data and identify opportunities for business growth.
- Strong business sense and the ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Advanced SQL proficiency for querying and manipulating data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Prior involvement in pricing analysis, market intelligence, or competitive benchmarking projects is a plus.
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis, automation, or building pipelines is also a plus
