What You'll Do…
- The primary task of a Pricing Analyst is to handle queries/tasks received from customers/stakeholders and/or assigned to them by their supervisors.
- He / She must show the willingness to learn new things every time and then.
- To accept direction / responsibility and maintain performance levels as per the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) assigned by the supervisors.
- To be open to take additional responsibilities of training colleagues.
- Consults with others on problems and activities; collects information from a range of sources to assist and guide job activities; asks effective questions to obtain information to help him/her perform their job.
- Takes accountability for delivering on commitments; owns mistakes and uses them as opportunities for learning and development; openly discusses his/her actions and their consequences both good and bad.
- Aggressively pursues challenging goals and objectives; will to put in considerable time and effort to accomplish objectives; takes a highly focused, goal driven approach toward work.
What You’ll Need…
- At least a bachelor’s degree in any stream.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Pricing (Rates, Tariff, Contract Management, RFQ handing) is preferred.
- Candidates from Shipping /Freight Forwarding industries with Good Communication Skills Strong negotiation Skills Interpersonal Skills Customer Centric * go getter attitude.
- Must have good knowledge about RFQ / Rates and Surcharges.
- Provide appropriate pricing for services to customers as per SOP.
- Respond to spot shipment with competitive rates.
- Establish, negotiate, and execute processes and service contracts with Ocean carriers that meet the pricing needs.
- Collaborate with global pricing team to continuously improve processes, and share best practice for pricing.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate attitude for learning/Innovation and apply to solve problem in system Able to work under pressure, positive attitude towards teamwork and good responsibility.
- Be able to work in shift and multicultural working environment.
- Travel overseas may be required on occasion as business need.
