Job Summary
The Pricing Analyst – Senior is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing pricing strategies that drive profitable growth while maintaining market competitiveness. This role leads pricing operations, pricing analytics, and cross-functional pricing initiatives by ensuring accurate pricing data, executing strategic price revisions, supporting customer pricing, and delivering actionable business insights. The position collaborates closely with Sales, Finance, Marketing, IT, and business leadership to align pricing decisions with organizational objectives, enhance pricing processes, and improve customer value.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and execution of pricing strategies that support business growth, profitability, and competitive positioning.
- Plan, analyze, obtain approvals for, and execute annual and mid-year pricing revisions across multiple product lines and market segments.
- Maintain accurate pricing data across ERP, CRM, order management, rebate, and pricing systems, ensuring data integrity and first-time accuracy.
- Manage multiple pricing structures and price lists while ensuring synchronization across enterprise systems.
- Prepare customer quotations and pricing proposals in collaboration with Sales teams and support complex customer pricing negotiations.
- Analyze pricing performance, market trends, customer behavior, competitive intelligence, and win/loss data to recommend pricing improvements and business actions.
- Lead pricing governance forums and facilitate collaborative pricing decisions with Sales, Finance, and business leadership.
- Design and continuously improve pricing methodologies, pricing policies, and pricing philosophies aligned with business objectives.
- Lead pricing analytics initiatives by leveraging business intelligence, automation, AI, and digital tools to improve pricing effectiveness and decision-making.
- Develop reports, dashboards, forecasts, and executive presentations that provide meaningful pricing insights and business recommendations.
- Lead pricing improvement projects, process optimization initiatives, and continuous improvement activities to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure timely resolution of complex pricing issues while providing excellent support to internal and external customers.
- Maintain confidentiality of pricing information and ensure compliance with company policies, governance requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Monitor pricing operational KPIs including turnaround time, accuracy, and service levels, implementing corrective actions where required.
- Coach, mentor, and develop pricing team members while fostering a collaborative, high-performance work environment.
Build strong partnerships across Sales, Finance, Marketing, IT, Supply Chain, and other business functions to achieve shared business goals.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing, Strategy, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.
- Master's degree or relevant professional certifications in Pricing, Finance, Analytics, or Business Management are preferred.
- Position may require compliance with applicable export controls or sanctions regulations.
Skills & Experience
- Significant experience in pricing, commercial finance, pricing analytics, sales operations, business analytics, or related commercial functions.
- Experience developing and implementing pricing strategies within manufacturing, automotive, industrial, aftermarket, or B2B environments is preferred.

- Working knowledge of ERP and CRM platforms (such as Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, or equivalent).

Qualifications
- The position is for India aftermarket DBU Pricing leader.
- Lead a team of three office employees – who manage the day to day DBU pricing operations and Pricing analytics.
- Takes care of the strategic pricing – which involves carrying out all the mass scale annual and mid year price revisions – including planning, analysis, seeking approvals from pricing councils, execution of the actions, providing the right justifications to the market etc.
- Leads the DBU Pricing councils. Ensures decisions are taken collaboratively by the Pricing, Finance and Sales leaders in this forum.
- Manage DBU out pricing along with the team for multiple Oracle price lists. Ensure sync with the CRM systems.
- Manage the DBU Direct customer pricing. Prepare the quotations to these customers in co-ordination with the sales team expectations and sometimes participate in the customer pricing negotiations.
- Lead business projects to align pricing with market expectations. Support the team to clear price challenges on regular basis.
- Lead Pricing analytics projects and implement AI analytics and tools in collaboration with the IT team
- Provide daily guidance to the team for day to day clearances. Ensure right pricing methodologies are followed and accurate pricing set ups are done at the first time.
- Maintain the team KPIs of Turn around time and accuracy.
- Design the pricing philosophies for this business in co-ordination with the sales leaders
