Sompo has a unique opportunity for a Pricing Analyst in our Pricing Department team in our Continental Europe business.


The Pricing team for Continental Europe plays a central role in driving profitable growth across our Corporate Insurance portfolio. As the business enters an ambitious growth phase, Pricing is evolving beyond traditional actuarial support into a strategic function focused on portfolio steering, advanced analytics, and data-driven decision making.

What you’ll be doing:

• Support case pricing activities across Corporate and Specialty lines of business

• Analyze exposure and claims data to derive pricing assumptions and technical insights

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of pricing tools and methodologies

• Perform portfolio monitoring activities, including A vs E analysis and performance reporting

• Support dashboard development and management information reporting through data manipulation and analysis

• Assist in MGA onboarding and delegated authority pricing reviews

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment of technical assumptions and portfolio views


What you’ll bring:

• Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Economics or a related quantitative discipline

• 0–3 years of experience in actuarial, analytical, or data-focused roles (insurance experience is an advantage but not mandatory)

• Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities

• Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of data analysis tools such as R, Python, SQL, or Power BI is highly valued

• Ability to work with large datasets and interpret results in a business context

• Strong attention to detail and structured approach to problem-solving

• Effective communication skills and collaborative mindset
