A Day in the LifeAs a Pricing Administrator II, you support the pricing administration process by ensuring that customer pricing is accurate, consistent, and correctly maintained in company systems. You analyse pricing information from multiple sources, validate pricing conditions, and identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies or unclear scenarios, contributing to the identification and elimination of their root causes. Working closely with local (in-country) Pricing teams and Customer Service, you help resolve pricing-related issues and support smooth day-to-day business operations.This role is well suited to someone who enjoys working with data, has strong attention to detail, and is motivated to identify practical solutions while collaborating with colleagues across functions.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Analyze customer pricing using price lists, pricing systems, and available business information
- Review and validate pricing data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment across systems
- Identify, investigate, and resolve pricing discrepancies, missing information, or unclear scenarios in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
- Work closely with local Pricing teams and Customer Service to clarify requirements and resolve pricing-related issues
- Support pricing administration processes while maintaining high standards of data accuracy and compliance with established procedures
- Investigate recurring pricing issues and contribute to identifying and eliminating root causes to improve data quality and process reliability
- Monitor recurring issues and propose practical improvements to pricing processes and data management
- Support team priorities and collaborate effectively with colleagues across functions and regions.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- German language skills (minimum B2 level, written and spoken)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Practical knowledge of business systems and tools like/similar to: Vendavo, SAP, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working within pricing, finance, commercial operations, order management, or similar business processes in a corporate environment would be beneficial. Familiarity with pricing tools such as Vendavo, ERP systems like SAP, and practical Excel skills for data analysis (e.g., formulas, v-lookups, or data validation) would be an advantage. Experience working in an international or shared services environment and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy would also be considered a plus.
