To lead and coordinate project preservation activities, ensuring equipment and materials are properly preserved throughout the project lifecycle while maintaining compliance with project requirements, preservation procedures, and Mechanical Completion (MC) requirements.
Responsibilities- Report to the Project Manager and act as the focal point for all project preservation activities.
- Interface with clients and participate in Mechanical Completion (MC) and preservation meetings, including preparation of Minutes of Meeting (MOM).
- Coordinate with clients and relevant disciplines on PIMS/Preservation Management System requirements and implementation.
- Develop, coordinate, and monitor preservation activities across E&I, Mechanical, Piping, and Structural disciplines.
- Prepare and maintain daily and weekly preservation status reports and overall ITR status from PIMS.
- Coordinate and expedite closure of preservation ITRs and punch list items with relevant disciplines.
- Monitor preservation progress and provide S-curve/progress updates related to Mechanical Completion.
- Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, PMT, QA/QC, and other relevant teams to ensure preservation requirements are implemented from incoming materials through fabrication and completion.
- Ensure preservation ITRs and documentation are properly completed and maintained in accordance with project requirements.
- Lead and support the Preservation Team and ensure preservation personnel are properly trained and deployed based on project requirements.
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in preservation, mechanical completion, commissioning, or module fabrication within the Oil & Gas, Offshore, EPC, or heavy fabrication industry.
- Strong experience with Mechanical Completion (MC) systems and preservation management systems such as PIMS.
- Good understanding of preservation requirements for Mechanical, Piping, E&I, and Structural equipment/materials.
- Experience in ITR management, punch list coordination, progress monitoring, and project reporting.
- Good coordination and communication skills with clients and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
Skills Required
