Job Description:
We are seeking a high-caliber Pre-Sales Engineer with an extensive background in networking infrastructure to lead our technical networking pillar. The successful candidate will drive the strategic technical direction for our core portfolio such as Cisco, Arista, HPE Aruba, and equivalent with a specific focus on high-complexity enterprise networking and Data Center Networking (DCN) architectures. Beyond technical excellence, this role requires a proven ability to lead a team of pre-sales engineers, ensuring resource optimization and technical governance across multiple vendor portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
- Team leadership by manage and mentor the networking pre-sales team, overseeing resource allocation, workload distribution, and technical enablement to ensure peak departmental productivity.
- Technical strategy, serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for high-complexity enterprise and Data Center networking, providing consultative services and high-level architectural design.
- Solution Design & BOM. Oversee the preparation of comprehensive technical proposals, accurate Bill of Materials (BOM), and sophisticated solution architectures for large-scale projects and public sector tenders.
- POC & demonstrations by lead and validate complex Proof of Concepts (POC), technical demonstrations, and site surveys to ensure solutions align with customer requirements and business objectives.
- Vendor compliance, manage the team’s vendor certification roadmap to ensure the organization maintains necessary partner statuses and meets all technical requirement thresholds.
- Business growth by collaborating with product team to design marketing programs and involves in meeting and quarterly sales quotas like QBR through technical leadership.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum of a Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in networking infrastructure design and troubleshooting, with at least 2 – 3 years in a leadership or senior supervisory capacity.
- Mastery of Cisco, Arista, HPE Aruba, or equivalent solutions is essential.
- Networking Fundamentals: Deep knowledge of IPv4/IPv6, Wireless Solution like Wi-Fi 7, Static and Dynamic Routing Protocols, VLAN, and Software-Defined Networking (SDN).
- Advanced Domains: Strong proficiency in Data Center Networking (DCN), including spine & leaf architecture, EVPN and VXLAN, micro-segmentation, SASE/SSE, AI-assist Central Networking, AI networking infra, and secure networking like firewall and zero trust architecture.
