Key Responsibilities
· Develop skid concepts and power module architectures based on customer requirements, site constraints, transportation, lifting, and installation considerations.
· Define and optimize equipment arrangement, footprint, accessibility, maintainability, safety clearances, and cable routing.
· Lead 2D and 3D skid layout development and review, ensuring integration of electrical and mechanical systems.
· Coordinate with Mechanical Design Engineers for structural, access, lifting, HVAC, cable entry, and maintenance requirements.
· Review customer specifications, RFQs, technical schedules, and enquiry documents to develop compliant solutions.
· Support electrical engineering activities related to MV/LV Switchgear, RMUs, Transformers, UPS, Busducts, Cables, Earthing, and Auxiliary Systems.
· Conduct site surveys and constructability assessments, ensuring designs are installation-friendly and minimize site work.
· Coordinate with suppliers, OEMs, and factories for technical alignment, drawing reviews, fabrication support, and FAT activities.
· Support detailed engineering, project execution, installation, and commissioning activities.
· Drive value engineering, standardization, and cost optimization initiatives.
· Can do the costing and budgeting of skid and mounted equioment
Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
· Experience in Power Skids, Modular Substations, E-Houses, Integrated Power Modules (IPM), or Data Center Infrastructure projects.
· Experience in equipment integration involving MV/LV Switchgear, RMUs, Transformers, UPS Systems, Busducts, and Cables.
· Costing of the SKID
Software Skills
· Microsoft office
· AutoCAD/Soildwords (Mandatory)
· Revit / BIM Tools (Preffered)
· EPLAN (Preferred)

· Strong understanding of skid conceptualization, equipment arrangement, and constructability.
· Experience in 2D/3D design review and multidisciplinary coordination.

Ideal Candidate
A hands-on engineer capable of owning the skid solution lifecycle from concept development, layout optimization, and 3D integration through detailed engineering, manufacturing support, installation planning, and project execution.
