WHO WE NEED:
The Pre-Sales Engineer will play a crucial role in demonstrating our products to prospective customers. In this junior position, your primary focus will be on delivering product demos that clearly explain the benefits of our solutions. You will also contribute to the preparation of RFIs and technical questionnaires, ensuring that the technical aspects of our offerings are communicated effectively throughout the sales process. Your strong product expertise and hands-on experience with customers will be essential to articulate complex technical information in an accessible manner, and this role offers a pathway for growth into more advanced pre-sales opportunities.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience supporting or implementing HCSS products
- Deep knowledge of HCSS products in the area you are supporting (estimating, operations, or fleet)
- Excellent customer-facing communication skills
- Ability to understand and articulate business value from a customer's perspective and to show how our software creates value for their businesses
Bonus Qualifications:
- Familiarity with integration architecture, including HCSS APIs, DIS/TrueUp, Workato, and other integration platforms.
- Experience with BI solutions, especially HCSS Insights, Direct Access, and PowerBI.
- Background in software implementation, particularly knowledge of HCSS implementation practices.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Product Demos: Deliver engaging product demonstrations that effectively showcase product features and benefits
- Technical Sales Support: Provide technical support during sales cycles by addressing customer inquiries and clarifying product capabilities
- RFIs and Questionnaires: Prepare and respond to RFIs and technical questionnaires with precise, accurate technical details
- Demo Environment Management: Maintain and support the demo environment to ensure it accurately represents our offerings
- AE Coaching: Collaborate with Account Executives by sharing in-depth product knowledge and insights on our services
