The day to day

We are recruiting for an experienced, hands-on Senior Account Manager with corporate communications experience. You’ll be responsible for supporting the senior team by being a trusted advisor and providing strategic counsel to clients, ensuring that excellent results are delivered for our clients and taking a lead in driving business development initiatives.

As Senior Account Manager you’ll get to:

  • Develop more junior team members using the appropriate people management techniques, empowering the team to achieve their full potential
  • Be the day-to-day lead on a number of client accounts, ensuring their success and leading the team to hit KPIs which ultimately support our clients’ business goals
  • Take a leading role in delivering new business, leading new business initiatives and driving pipeline growth by proactively identifying and delivering opportunities for growth
  • Resolve client issues swiftly and successfully, always having a grasp on desired outcomes
  • Develop an understanding of client profitability and support the Directors in ensuring client profitability across the team
  • Develop a strong network across Grayling globally, leveraging opportunities to work together for commercial benefit and to enhance professional development and learning
  • Build an external network and proactively uses it to the benefit of Grayling

 

What will give you the edge

  • Experience in developing and executing corporate communications strategies and campaigns
  • A sharp business and PR acumen to quickly determine short- and long-term priorities to ensure all client needs are met
  • Experience in managing and working on a diverse range of corporate and consumer accounts, with a key focus on corporate
  • A strong thought leadership writer
  • Strategic, analytical thinker with the initiative to see key campaigns through from start to finish
  • Strong understanding of both traditional and digital public relations
  • Curious – a desire to learn, improve, apply new knowledge and develop self
  • Organised with ability to juggle multiple and changing priorities
  • Supportive, inspiring and motivational leader
  • Personal drive with a passion for the industry and staying abreast of current affairs
  • Calm and authoritative in response to issues or crisis
