The Role
Design, test, document, and productionize high-performance multi-kilowatt power electronics hardware for automotive superbikes. Own hardware development from concept through production, collaborate with firmware, mechanical, PCB, sourcing, quality, compliance, and manufacturing teams, and develop deployable intellectual property. Apply expertise in AC/DC and DC/DC topologies, power semiconductors, switching losses, gate drivers, and protection circuits.
Summary Generated by Built In
• Design, build, and bring into production high performance power electronics hardware for automotive applications, specifically for a range of superbikes.
• Collaborate closely with firmware, mechanical engineering, PCB design, sourcing, quality, compliance, and manufacturing teams.
• Take ownership of partial or complete hardware design, from conceptualization to testing and production.
• Prepare, maintain, and update all design and development documentation, and communicate technical and non technical information effectively to relevant stakeholders.
• Develop intellectual property (IP) and translate it into practical, deployable solutions
Requirements
- Strong
commitment and passion for engineering, especially power
electronics, with a drive to create new ideas and convert them into
real-world solutions.
