Mission
To provide strong, science-based and quality-driven analytical support and quality control to Sanofi's biologics pipeline in order to ensure comprehensive understanding of our products and processes using state of the art technologies and approaches. We support a wide range of biologics modalities including Nanobody® molecules, synthorins™, monoclonal antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates and complex protein modalities.

The BioAnalytics Germany department is focused to establish and develop innovative technologies and analytical platforms to characterize and ensure the quality of new complex protein modalities.
Our team is very versatile, everyone brings their own individual personality and skills. What makes us unique: We master the challenges from early development to market launch engaging energy, creativity, and enthusiasm.
Main activities:
- Development and validation of bioanalytical methods for the detection of bacterial endotoxins and pyrogens using biochemical and immunological techniques
- Analysis of endotoxin recovery experiments involving recombinant proteins, antibodies, nanobodies, or RNA molecules and their formulations
- Biochemical and biophysical investigations of endotoxin/pyrogen solutions
- Collaboration with academic research institutions and biotech companies to establish new endotoxin/pyrogen testing methods
- Cell biological analysis techniques and cell culture
- Development of binding assays and affinity measurements
- Establishment and execution of biochemical interaction analyses
- Participation in international project teams for the development of new endotoxin/pyrogen testing procedures
About You
Education and Experiences
- Completed degree in a natural science with PhD, preferably in biology, chemistry or biochemistry
- Professional experience in the field of protein analysis, particularly in cellular and biochemical assays
- Professional experience in endotoxin/pyrogen studies is desirable
Social Aptitudes
- Strong team and communication skills
- Independent and self-responsible working style
- High level of commitment and autonomy, as well as reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
Technical skills / Proficiencies
- Experience in the development of cell-based and immunological assay systems
- Experience with proteinanalytics, especially endotoxin/pyrogen testing
- Experience with biochemical interaction analyses
- Working experience with Biacore technologies
Languages
- English, German desirable
