RESPONSIBILITIES:
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-Serving as the research associate for current medical imaging research projects, including but not limited to a study automatic analysis of imaging-based diagnosis. -Assisting Principal Investigators in the department with grant-writing. If desired, applicants may have an opportunity to pursue their own grants as Principal Investigator -Assisting with manuscript writing and preparation as a co-author. -Pursuing independent research if desired and opportunities arise Performs other duties as assigned. none
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
font-size:14.0ptBASIC KNOWLEDGE: - A PhD degree upon start date is required. The doctorate degree should be in computer science, pattern recognition, biomedical engineering, or a related field. -Experience writing manuscripts. A strong publication record on machine learning, computer vision, and/or medical imaging is required (full-length top journals and/or conferences papers). EXPERIENCE: -Minimum 3 years' research experience in a related discipline -Experience managing research projects -Experience with grant writing is preferred -Experience with coding in Python and MATLAB is required. WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Opportunities for remote work can be considered. Sufficient visual acuity and manual dexterity to use computer keyboard and other common lab and office equipment. INDEPENDENT ACTION: Performs independently within department policies and practices. Refers specific complex problems to supervisor where clarification of departmental policies and procedures may be required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: Ability to train and work with volunteers and students on projects.
Pay Range:
