Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for TELD database processes, providing guidance and support to team members, laboratories, and stakeholders.
- Monitor operational, quality, and productivity metrics; identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement, and provide regular reporting to management.
- Provide operational support to managers through workload planning, capacity assessments, resource coordination, and issue escalation management.
- Manage and prioritize individual and team workloads to ensure service levels, quality standards, and business deadlines are consistently met.
- Act as a key contact for global laboratories and remote sites, troubleshooting database-related issues and driving timely resolution.
- Support stakeholder engagement by coordinating database changes, gathering requirements, communicating impacts, and ensuring successful implementation.
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, standardization, data quality, and customer experience.
- Provide training, mentoring, and onboarding support for new team members and contribute to knowledge sharing across the organization.
- Serve as backup to the TELD Database Services Coordinator and support critical operational activities during periods of absence or increased business demand.
- Collaborate across functional teams, laboratories, IT, Quality, and business stakeholders to support strategic initiatives and operational objectives.
- Support Quality Management activities by participating in audits, investigations, CAPA actions, process reviews, and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
- Support compliance with established policies, procedures (SOP/WI), quality standards, and training requirements while promoting a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Any other duties as assigned by the management based on the business needs

- Complete assigned training requirements and maintain an accurate, up-to-date training record.
- Review and adhere to applicable SOPs, work instructions, and quality processes.
- Ensure proper documentation and record retention to support business continuity and audit readiness.
- Work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating accountability and ownership.
- Contribute to a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Life Sciences
- 8 or more years of experience in laboratory operations, clinical diagnostics, scientific data management, clinical databases, or a regulated environment.
Additional Job Standards
- Experience supporting laboratory test setup, reference range management, test code maintenance, or laboratory information systems.
- Knowledge of laboratory methodologies, clinical laboratory terminology, and reference range management.
- Experience with data validation, quality review processes, and database administration activities.
- Previous experience providing training, mentoring, process leadership, or operational support is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of laboratory testing, clinical diagnostics, laboratory operations, or scientific data management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
