Job Summary 

Our client is looking for an experienced and strategic Portfolio Launch Manager to lead our product and service launch initiatives. This role is responsible for orchestrating the introduction of a diverse portfolio to the market, encompassing physical products like musical instruments and strings, service offerings such as rental programs and payment plans, and digital educational materials. 

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic insight, marketing acumen, and a passion for music, aligning with our mission to advocate for music players. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive launch plans for a diverse range of products and services, ensuring alignment with our company's strategic goals and market demands.

  • Create Compelling Campaigns: Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that effectively communicate the value proposition of our new products. Utilize a mix of digital marketing, social media, email marketing, PR, events, and other channels to maximize reach and engagement.

  • Craft Engaging Content: Work closely with the creative team to develop high-quality content including product videos, blog posts, social media posts, email newsletters, press releases, and other collateral that captures the attention of our target audience and drives interest in our products.

  • Coordinate Launch Activities: Plan and coordinate all activities related to product launches, including but not limited to media outreach, influencer partnerships, promotional events, product demonstrations, and advertising campaigns. Ensure that all launch activities are carried out on time and within budget.

  • Foster cross-functional collaboration among teams to ensure cohesive and effective launch strategies, from concept through execution and post-launch evaluation.

  • Leverage market research and product data to inform launch strategies, tailoring initiatives to resonate with target audiences and maximize customer satisfaction and ROI.

  • Implement a customer-centric approach in all launch activities, focusing on creating an exceptional customer experience and fostering product adoption and advocacy.

  • Cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the launch team, encouraging early launches and iterative feedback to refine and enhance strategies.

  • Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Keep abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges relevant to product launches. Leverage insights to refine strategies and tactics accordingly.

  • Track and analyze launch outcomes against key performance indicators (KPIs), adjusting strategies as needed based on market feedback and performance data. 

Requirements 

  •  Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field.

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in product marketing, campaign management, or related roles within the music industry or a similar consumer goods industry.

  • Demonstrated track record of successfully launching products and driving measurable results.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a passion for music.

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.

  • Knowledge of string instruments and the music industry landscape is a plus.
