A Pool & Beach / Activities Attendant helps create memorable guest experiences under the beautiful Aruban sun! In this role, you’ll be a friendly, energetic presence at our resort, delivering warm and attentive service while keeping our pool, beach, and recreational areas clean, safe, and inviting.
You’ll assist guests with pool and beach amenities, support a variety of fun resort activities, and help ensure every guest enjoys a comfortable, enjoyable, and welcoming experience throughout their stay.
ResponsibilitiesWhat You’ll DoWelcome and engage guests with a warm, friendly, and professional approach.
Set up and maintain pool and beach areas, including chairs, umbrellas, towels, palapas, and cabanas.
Assist guests with towels, seating, cabana services, and other pool and beach needs.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of pool and beach areas.
Manage chair, palapa, and cabana reservations and ensure proper guest setup.
Support and participate in resort activities such as kayaking, paddle boarding, bike tours, and children's activities.
Set up and assist with personalized and special-event activities.
Provide guests with information about resort services, activities, and local attractions.
Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service that exceeds expectations.
Assist guests with disabilities in accordance with Hilton standards.
Maintain and organize activities, equipment, and supplies.
Report maintenance, safety, or security concerns promptly.
Follow all Hilton safety, emergency, and service procedures.
Work closely with other team members to ensure excellent and timely guest service.
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in hospitality, guest service, a gym, a spa, recreation, or a fitness environment is preferred.
- Secondary vocational education or equivalent.
- Good spoken English and strong communication skills.
- Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude.
- Good attention to cleanliness, safety, and facility presentation.
- Ability to follow safety, cleaning, and equipment procedures.
- Basic knowledge of fitness equipment.
- Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certification, or willingness to obtain certification.
- Papiamento, Spanish, and/or Dutch language skills are an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
