- Develop and maintain a deep working knowledge of the ERP system and its finance modules — Accounting, Invoicing, Expenses, Payments, Reconciliation, Budgeting, Reporting, Tax, Multi-company, Multi-currency, and integrations with payment gateways and banks.
- Maintain a living catalogue of features, modules, and capabilities — including what is enabled, what is in use, what is configured but unused, and what exists in newer versions but has not been adopted.
- Stay current on ERP version roadmaps, release notes, and best practices — translate them into opportunities for Snoonu.
- Run structured discovery sessions with Finance, Treasury, FP&A, Tax, and adjacent teams (Commercial, Operations) to map current processes against ERP capabilities.
- Identify and document: (a) capabilities we should be using but aren't, (b) features we use incorrectly, (c) manual workarounds that should live in the ERP, and (d) controls or audit requirements not yet enforced in the system.
- Maintain a prioritized backlog of opportunities and issues, scored by impact, effort, risk, and dependencies.
- Own the ERP–Finance project portfolio end-to-end: intake, scoping, sprint planning, delivery, UAT, go-live, and post-launch measurement.
- Lead Sprint 0 artifacts for every initiative — Project Charter, Product Definition Document (PDD), Requirements & Scope, Delivery & Governance Plan — to the standard set by the team's SDLC framework.
- Coordinate with the Digital Solutions Lead and Engineers on technical delivery, integrations, customizations, and version upgrades.
- Govern ERP change requests: triage incoming asks, validate impact, ensure proper approvals, and manage release windows so finance close cycles are protected.
- Understand how ERP systems are architected — modules, configurations, customizations, and integrations — well enough to challenge scope, catch risks early, and make informed prioritization decisions.
- Be conversational with developers about APIs, data flows, integrations, and technical constraints. You don't write code, but you understand what is easy vs. complex, and why.
- Read and contribute to technical specs, review configurations with engineers, and ensure business requirements are accurately translated before development starts.
- Identify technical debt, performance issues, or architectural risks in the ERP footprint and flag them proactively with the engineering team.
- Define and track adoption and utilization KPIs per module (active users, transactions captured in-system vs. outside, automation rate, exception rate, error rate, days-to-close, etc.).
- Build enablement materials, SOPs, training, and runbooks for finance users — ensure that what we deliver is actually used.
- Monitor usage data, surface adoption blockers, and run targeted interventions (training refreshers, UX tweaks, configuration changes) to lift utilization.
- Be the dedicated ERP–Finance partner to the Finance leadership team and their team members.
- Translate finance language into technical requirements and engineering language into business-readable updates.
- Run a regular operating rhythm with Finance: weekly working sessions, monthly steering, quarterly roadmap reviews.
- Ensure the ERP is the single source of truth for finance data — and that reports, dashboards, and reconciliations pull from it correctly.
- Partner with Finance and Internal Audit on access controls, segregation of duties, audit trails, and compliance configurations within the ERP.
- Support month-end and year-end close by removing system blockers and ensuring data integrity.
- Maintain comprehensive, up-to-date documentation of the ERP–Finance footprint: configurations, customizations, integrations, workflows, and decisions made.
- Contribute to the team's knowledge base (Notion, Confluence) so the role and the system are not dependent on any single individual.
- Onboard new finance users with a structured curriculum and reference materials.
- 5–8 years of experience in project management, ERP, Finance Systems, Business Analysis, or Digital Transformation — with at least 3 years working hands-on with an ERP in a finance or cross-functional context.
- Proven track record of managing end-to-end projects: scope definition, stakeholder alignment, delivery, UAT, go-live, and outcome measurement.
- Strong functional knowledge of finance and accounting concepts: GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, multi-currency, multi-company, intercompany, tax, reconciliation, and financial close.
- Demonstrated experience identifying ERP gaps, scoping improvements, leading delivery, and driving adoption with finance teams.
- Solid technical literacy — comfortable reading system specs, understanding integrations, APIs, and data flows, reviewing configurations with engineers, and making informed scope and priority decisions.
- Strong product-owner / business-analyst skill set — discovery, requirements documentation, user stories, UAT, success measurement.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to push back constructively and align senior finance and tech leaders.
- Working proficiency with Jira, Notion, Miro, and basic productivity tools.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems — particularly the Accounting, Invoicing, Payments, Reporting modules, etc.
- Experience with ERP version migrations or upgrades on live systems.
- Exposure to high-growth, multi-entity, multi-currency environments — ideally in tech, e-commerce, fintech, or super-app companies.
- Familiarity with payment gateway integrations, bank connectors, and reconciliation automation.
- Experience working embedded in or alongside a software engineering team — understanding the development lifecycle, sprint ceremonies, and technical trade-offs.
- Process improvement background (Lean / Six Sigma / Agile).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; an MBA or equivalent is welcome.
- CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent finance certification.
- PMP, Agile, or product management certifications.
- Arabic language skills.
