Capital Markets - Business Analyst
Location: Riyadh | Type: Permanent
The Role
We are seeking a Capital Markets Business Analyst to support the delivery of a major brokerage platform transformation. The role will be responsible for analysing business needs, defining functional requirements and supporting delivery throughout the implementation lifecycle. The Business Analyst will work with business, operations, risk, compliance, technology and third-party teams to document current and target processes, maintain requirements traceability and support testing, migration, implementation and business readiness.
What You’ll Do
- Analyse current processes and document target-state brokerage workflows.
- Capture and document business, functional, data, reporting, integration and operational requirements.
- Produce business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, process maps, use cases and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain traceability between requirements, solution designs, configurations, interfaces and test cases.
- Support platform walkthroughs and document capability coverage, gaps, constraints and dependencies.
- Work with SMEs and solution teams to define requirements for order capture, routing, execution, risk checks, positions, settlement and reconciliation.
- Document integration requirements for internal applications, market infrastructure providers and external service providers.
- Define business rules, data validations, exception scenarios, approval processes and audit requirements.
- Track requirements changes, decisions, assumptions, dependencies, risks and outstanding actions.
- Develop process documentation, user guides and training materials.
- Support knowledge-transfer, operational-handover and post-implementation activities.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Business Analyst within capital markets, securities brokerage, investment services or trading technology.
- Saudi Arabia local market experiences a must
- Good understanding of the trade lifecycle, from order capture and execution through clearing, settlement, reconciliation and reporting.
- Experience working on trading, brokerage, order-management, execution-management or post-trade platform implementations.
- Experience producing business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, process maps and traceability matrices.
- Experience supporting system integration testing, user acceptance testing, defect management and business sign-off.
- Ability to analyse complex processes and translate them into clear, testable requirements.
- Experience working within Agile, hybrid or structured delivery methodologies.
