BI Platform Support Analyst to provide technical and operational support for Business Intelligence (BI) platforms. The role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing BI tools and solutions to ensure smooth data flow and reporting capabilities for business users.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
System Monitoring and Maintenance:
- Monitor BI platforms jobs to ensure uptime, performance, and availability.
- Perform routine maintenance and system health checks on EDH & UMS
- Service now/VSTS ticket management
Incident Resolution:
- Address and resolve user issues related to BI tools and reports for various BI areas like RCoE, Sales, OFR, People etc..
- Collaborate with development team to troubleshoot and fix data discrepancies or system errors.
User Support:
- Assist end-users with queries related to dashboards, reports, and data analysis.
- Provide guidance on using BI tools effectively.
Data Quality Management:
- Identify and rectify data quality issues.
- Support data validation and reconciliation processes.
Documentation:
- Maintain documentation for BI processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
- Update knowledge base articles for user self-service.
Report Optimization:
- Work with developers and stakeholders to optimize existing reports and dashboards.
- Test and validate report outputs to ensure accuracy.
Continuous Learning:
- Upskill the knowledge on existing BI platforms, jobs and architecture
- Stay updated on BI tool features and functionality.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance BI skills and knowledge.
