Business Title: Platform Consultant
Organization Overview, Function, Purpose & Platform Consultant Work Scope
The team supports Allstate Health Solutions (AHS) technology platforms, enabling Product delivery, Platform modernization, Secure integrations and Operational stability across key platforms (Quotit, AgentCubed, AHIT, Medicare Benefits)
Platform Consultant's Work Scope:
This role sits at the intersection of platform engineering, solution design, and delivery execution, with a strong hands-on focus (not purely advisory) supporting modernization and integration work
You will be working in a highly cross-functional role, partnering with Product, Engineering, Platform, Security/Compliance, Infrastructure, and Vendors
Operates as a bridge between business intent and engineering execution
Key Responsibilities / Day-to-Day
Support platform solution design and integration strategies
Perform hands-on API validation and testing (e.g., Postman)
Assist in Azure migration planning, environment readiness, and cutover execution
Coordinate DevOps readiness:
Repo access, CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes
Support data migration planning and validation (including PHI/PII considerations)
Identify risks, blockers, and dependencies across environments, security, and integrations
Collaborate with engineering to translate business requirements into implementable solutions
Produce technical documentation, decision logs, and stakeholder updates
Required Qualifications (Must-Have)
7+ years progressive experience
Hands-on API + integration experience
Azure/cloud experience
Working knowledge of DevOps (CI/CD, repos, deployments)
Ability to execute within platform delivery (not just architect)
Strong communication + documentation skills
Work directly with engineers (debug, validate, iterate)
Communicate across technical and business stakeholders
Document risks, decisions, and dependencies clearly
Preferred Experience (Nice-to-Have)
Tech stack exposure:
.NET / C# / SQL / Cosmos DB
Azure DevOps, GitHub, Terraform, IaC tools
Experience with:
API tools (Postman)
Cloud/data migration and cutover activities
Regulated environments (HIPAA, PHI/PII, HITRUST)
