In the role as our new Planning & Procurement Specialist, you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer here at FalCom, a part of GN. You will ensure supply reliability and material availability by managing demand/supply plans, purchase orders, and supplier coordination for a defined portfolio of FalCom products, in a tender-based, low‑volume, high‑mix environment.
The team you will be part of
As part of the GN Group, headquartered in Ballerup, we are committed to developing advanced hearing protection and communication solutions that facilitate clear communication and enhance safety for defence, law enforcement and security professionals.
You will be part of the Supply Chain team, report to Camilla Thorn, Senior Manager Supply Chain and work closely with Strategic Sourcing, Project Sourcing, Sales, Program Management, Finance and Operations, as well as EMS/CM partners and component suppliers.
Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
- Translate demand/backlog into feasible supply plans, run MPS/MRP and maintain planning parameters
- Create, confirm, and maintain POs to EMS/CMs and component suppliers and secure on‑time delivery
- Manage daily supplier communication and follow-up on deliveries, shortages, delays and constraints to minimize excess/obsolete risk, with timely escalations and mitigation actions
- Perform root cause analysis and initiate corrective actions with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Perform lead-time, MOQ, inventory and order-pattern analysis; map operational risks and provide structured input to strategic and project sourcing
- Monitor inventory health; adjust buffers to balance service and working capital
- Maintain high‑quality ERP master data and clean order books
- Provide data‑driven visibility on risks, constraints, and trade‑offs to stakeholders
To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:
- Have a higher background within Supply Chain/Operations, Engineering, or Business (or equivalent experience)
- Demonstrated experience in supply planning and operational procurement in low‑volume, high‑mix contexts; EMS/CM exposure is an add‑on and solid understanding of inventory management, planning parameters and their impact on service level and working capital
- Solid skills within MRP/ERP concepts and Excel to analyse demand, supply, inventory, and lead‑time data
- Proficient in English and communicate clearly and work well with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Steady, solution‑oriented approach under time pressure, take ownership of outcomes and data quality and thrive in a changeable environment
Approximately 10–25 days per year (supplier/EMS visits, internal workshops and GN/FalCom sites), depending on business needs.
We encourage you to apply
Even if you don’t match all the above-mentioned skills, we welcome your application if you think you have transferable skills. We highly value a mindset and motivation that align with our core values, to not only ensure growth for you, but for your team and the wider GN organization as well.
