- Lead demand planning activities for all Product businesses.
- Prepare and maintain demand forecasts in Anaplan.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Managers, and Business Heads to improve forecast reliability.
- Analyze forecast variances and implement corrective actions.
- Support monthly demand review and S&OP processes.
- Monitor demand trends and identify risks and opportunities.
MTS & MTO Planning
MTS (Make-to-Stock)
- Review stock levels and replenishment requirements for locally manufactured and traded products.
- Execute bi-weekly MTS planning cycle.
- Issue FG orders and maintain optimum inventory coverage.
- Monitor stock availability to achieve service level targets.
MTO (Make-to-Order)
- Review non-committed MTO backlog on a regular basis.
- Follow up with factories and suppliers to secure delivery commitments.
- Drive timely closure of pending MTO orders.
- Coordinate cross-functional actions to improve order fulfilment.
Inventory Governance & Optimization
- Establish strong inventory governance mechanisms.
- Conduct regular inventory analysis and reporting.
- Monitor inventory aging, excess stock, slow-moving stock, and obsolete inventory.
- Drive inventory reduction initiatives while maintaining service levels.
- Ensure inventory policies and planning parameters are aligned with budget & business objectives.
- Support inventory reconciliation and stock accuracy reviews.
Stock Quality Management
- Improve stock quality by ensuring optimum inventory composition.
- Monitor & adhere Quality Stock KPI.
- Maintain Quality Stock target.
- Drive action plans for excess and non-moving inventory.
Backlog Governance
- Monitor customer order backlog on a daily and weekly basis.
- Identify delivery risks and implement recovery plans.
- Coordinate with sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and customer service teams.
- Ensure orders are fulfilled within committed timelines.
- Drive continuous backlog reduction initiatives.
Supply Planning & Material Availability
- Ensure timely procurement and replenishment of materials.
- Monitor supplier commitments and delivery performance.
- Escalate and resolve material shortages.
- Support business continuity through proactive planning and risk mitigation.
Reporting & Analytics
- Generate planning dashboards and KPI reports.
- Provide regular updates on forecast accuracy, inventory health, service levels, and backlog.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend improvement actions.
- Support management reviews with actionable insights.
