Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, these services include payments-focused consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, business Test & Learn experimentation, and data-driven information and risk management services.
The Business Insights Team is focused on ensuring that all of Services can make data-driven decisions and operate effectively and efficiently.
Role:
The Senior Data Scientist is responsible for designing and delivering scalable, data-driven solutions that improve system effectiveness, operational efficiency, data quality, and business performance across critical Services platforms. This role combines advanced analytics, data science, process intelligence, and data governance to drive strategic decision-making, enable scalable operations, and enhance end-user experiences across enterprise systems and workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a strategic analytics partner to Services system owners, process leaders, and operational stakeholders by using data-driven insights to improve platform health, efficiency, scalability, and business outcomes.
Design, implement, and continuously evolve measurement frameworks, KPIs, and scorecards to assess system effectiveness, process adherence, user adoption, data quality, and operational performance.
Conduct advanced analysis of user behavior, system utilization, workflows, page layouts, licensing consumption, and operational processes to identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and productivity improvements.
Develop analytical solutions that proactively identify data quality issues, process breakdowns, integration failures, and system performance risks before they impact downstream reporting, operations, or business decisions.
Build and maintain scalable reporting, dashboards, monitoring frameworks, and self-service analytics capabilities that provide actionable visibility into system health and operational effectiveness.
Partner with Operations, Product, Technology, and Business teams to translate analytical findings into practical recommendations and drive implementation of improvements to system configurations, governance processes, and business workflows.
Support enterprise data governance initiatives through development of data standards, validation frameworks, quality controls, and monitoring solutions that improve consistency, accuracy, and trust in organizational data assets.
Design and enhance data pipelines, analytical datasets, and integrations supporting enterprise systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and accessibility of business-critical information.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for automation, process optimization, workflow enhancement, and analytical innovation across Services operations.
Present analytical findings, business cases, and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders, translating complex analyses into clear business actions.
Contribute to the development of analytics best practices, data governance standards, and data science capabilities across the organization.
All About You:
Experience working with Salesforce or similar enterprise CRM platforms.
Experience supporting system governance, access management, licensing optimization, or operational reporting initiatives.
Experience monitoring enterprise data integrations and identifying root causes of data synchronization or process failures.
Familiarity with user adoption analytics, digital experience measurement, and platform effectiveness reporting.
Experience developing analytics solutions supporting business operations, customer lifecycle management, or enterprise process transformation initiatives.
Experience with automation technologies, workflow optimization, and AI-enabled operational analytics.
Advanced Python & SQL skills with experience working with large-scale and complex datasets.
Advanced proficiency in Tableau and/or Power BI, including development of executive dashboards, operational reporting, KPI frameworks, self-service analytics, and data visualization solutions for large-scale business organizations.
