The Role

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

This position is part of our MEIA Graduate Program. Through this program, you will accelerate your career through personal development plans, local or international assignments, challenging and exciting tasks, and focused training programs.
Do you have a passion for planning and ensuring smooth operations? In this role, you will be the main point of contact to strategically plan production in order to meet customer demands and will also be in charge of balancing stock levels. In terms of efficiency, you will also have to ensure raw materials and packaging availability, and optimize machine capacity for specific products. This position will be based in Dubai and will be reporting to the Production Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Craft realistic production schedules for specific products by gathering and analyzing customer demand, balancing On Time in Full (OTIF), inventory levels, and production costs
  • Strive towards planning key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant and support initiatives that drive continuous improvements
  • Enhance the planning process by leveraging existing functionalities in Matrix and implementing new best practices according to Jotun Operations System standards
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with Purchasing, Customer Service, Sales and Production to ensure the best information is available for daily planning
  • Prepare detailed monthly planning reports to keep track of progress and performance

What We Look For:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical/Engineering or any related field
  • Minimum 3 years of planning experience is required
  • Experience in Powder/Paints planning will be an added advantage
  • Proficient in Ms Office tools and advanced Ms Excel user
