The Opportunity
As a Pittsburgh - DAT - Intern, you will engage in a dynamic learning environment, gaining exposure to PwC's practices and methodologies within our Assurance practice. You will support teams by participating in projects that focus on digital assurance, helping clients gain confidence in their financial reporting and decision-making. This role involves conducting research and performing basic tasks, allowing you to observe professional work environments and contribute to the team's success.
As an Intern, you will adopt a learning mindset and take ownership of your development. You will appreciate diverse perspectives and actively listen, asking questions to enhance your understanding. Your role will involve gathering information from various sources to analyze facts and discern patterns, committing to understanding how the business works and building commercial awareness. Responsibilities
- Supporting audit teams by participating in the execution of digital assurance tasks
- Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain insights into financial reporting processes
- Assisting in the application of auditing methodologies to enhance transparency and compliance
- Engaging in basic research and data analysis to support decision-making and reporting accuracy
- Participating in the development and testing of artificial intelligence platforms for audit processes
- Contributing to the evaluation of cloud engineering solutions to optimize audit efficiency
- Collaborating with team members to apply compliance and governance standards in audit activities
- Gathering and analyzing information to identify patterns and support audit objectives
- Applying a learning mindset to develop personal skills and understanding of PwC practices
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
