Job Description:
The Physician & APP Recruitment Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the recruitment strategy, operations, and performance of a team focused on attracting, engaging, and hiring highly qualified Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), including Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, CRNAs, and Certified Nurse Midwives. This role serves as a strategic talent acquisition partner to clinical and operational leaders, ensuring workforce needs are met through proactive recruitment planning, innovative sourcing strategies, and an exceptional candidate experience. The manager provides leadership, coaching, and development to recruitment team members while driving recruitment excellence, process improvement, and operational effectiveness across the provider recruitment function.The following states are currently paused for sourcing new candidates or for new relocation requests for current caregivers :
California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington.
Essential Functions
1. Candidate Sourcing:
• Identify and source qualified physician and APP candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates to meet current and future staffing needs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with medical schools, residency programs, and professional associations to identify potential candidates.
2. Recruitment Process Management:
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and offer negotiations.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear and consistent communication throughout the recruitment process.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Work closely with hiring teams, medical directors, and other key stakeholders to understand staffing needs and requirements.
• Provide regular updates to hiring managers on the status of recruitment efforts and candidate pipelines.
4. Marketing and Outreach:
• Develop and implement marketing and outreach initiatives to attract top physician and APP talent.
• Represent the organization at industry conferences, career fairs, and networking events.
• Utilize social media and other digital platforms to enhance recruitment efforts.
• Assist in the development recruitment materials.
5. Compliance and Reporting:
• Ensure recruitment practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions and recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Prepare and present regular reports on recruitment metrics and outcomes.
6. Candidate Evaluation and Selection:
• Conduct thorough screening and evaluation of candidates’ qualifications, experience, and fit for the organization.
• Coordinate with hiring teams and other stakeholders throughout the interview and selection process. Negotiate job offers and initiate the onboarding process.

Qualifications
1. Proven experience in recruitment, preferably in healthcare or physician recruitment.
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
3. Ability to build and maintain relationships with Physician and APP candidates and internal stakeholders.
4. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
5. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
6. Knowledge of recruitment best practices and compliance with employment laws.
7. Ability to travel as needed.
