We are now looking for a Physical Design Methodology and DevOps Engineer! This is a DevOps role where you will be both writing software to manage EDA tools and will be seeing to it's successful operation.

What you'll be doing:

  • Designing and supporting mechanisms for coordinating and maintaining a large number of semiconductor design tasks across multiple datacenters.

  • Building web interfaces to configure, launch and analyze tools.

  • Debugging and improving services on platforms ranging from web browsers to containerized services to bare metal Linux hosts.

  • Data mining and analyzing large datasets of job execution telemetry and tool Quality of Result to improve flows

  • Helping to invent the next generation in semiconductor design methodology.

  • Optionally, contributing to the physical design of GPU/SoC products.

What we want to see:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Systems Engineering (or equivalent experience).

  • 3+ years of software development and operations experience, or related fields.

  • Programming and scripting languages, such as perl, python, C, Javascript.

  • Knowledge and experience with distributed systems.

  • Web technologies and programming.

  • A strong understanding of linux systems.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience in a DevOps environment and Agile Methodology.

  • Familiarity with MSSQL/mysql/Perl.

  • Experience with Elasticsearch / Kibana / Vega.

  • Background with Static Timing Analysis / VLSI Physical design.

  • Debugging experience for Relational databases and No-SQL datastores as well as experience debugging and administering linux systems.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 116,000 USD - 189,750 USD for Level 2, and 136,000 USD - 218,500 USD for Level 3.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
