Brown & Brown is seeking a Personal Lines Technical Assistant to join our growing team in Fort Myers, FL (option to work in Naples, Florida)!
How You Will Contribute:
- Provide information to the public and customers.
- Perform routine clerical tasks including typing, data entry, filing, and operating office machines.
- Answer phones, routes callers, and takes and delivers messages.
- Work with Carriers and mortgage Companies for servicing Insurance files. Once 440 obtained may be expected to assist customers with general insurance tasks
- Maintains files, records or reports
- Perform other duties as assigned
Licenses and Certifications:
2-20 or 4-40 license (or obtained within 90 days).
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum one-year job experience
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook
- Knowledge of industry sales/marketing methods preferred.
- Advanced college degree is desirable.
