- Market new business, determine coverages and premiums, prepare and present proposals to clients. Market coverages to carriers.
- Review and analyze existing client’s insurance needs on an annual basis with recommendations to purchase additional lines of products.
- Develop Centers of Influence for the purpose of establishing referrals.
- Develop a list of expiration dates to maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects.
- Perform outside inspections and proper underwriting as needed.
- Agent is encouraged to further their insurance career by seeking Professional designations and becoming involved in community activities.
- Be familiar with and follow agency E&O guidelines.
- Assist claims CSRs in claims process as needed.
- College degree required
- License preferred
- Highly motivated, organized and able to work in a fast paced environment
- A strong attention to detail with a passion for providing quality customer service
- Must be a self-starter with good communication skills, both verbal and written.
