The Performance Marketing Coordinator for Consumer Referral Program will be responsible for executing and optimizing PayPal's consumer referral initiatives while orchestrating cross-functional collaboration. This role combines user experience optimization with performance marketing to drive viral growth through existing PayPal users. You will coordinate with various teams including marketing, legal, analytics, product, and engineering to ensure seamless program execution and optimization.

Job Description:

The Performance Marketing Coordinator for Consumer Referral Program will be responsible for executing and optimizing PayPal's consumer referral initiatives while orchestrating cross-functional collaboration. This role combines user experience optimization with performance marketing to drive viral growth through existing PayPal users. You will coordinate with various teams including marketing, legal, analytics, product, and engineering to ensure seamless program execution and optimization while maintaining detailed performance reports.

You Will:

  • Execute and optimize PayPal's consumer referral program strategies

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement program initiatives:

    • Product Marketing, Integrated Marketing and Lifecycle teams for campaign alignment and messaging consistency

    • Legal for compliance review and regulatory requirements

    • Analytics for data insights and performance tracking

    • Product for user experience improvements

    • Engineering for technical implementation and troubleshooting

  • Monitor referral program metrics and conversion rates across different user segments

  • Design and implement A/B tests to optimize referral flows and messaging

  • Create and maintain performance reports tracking referral program success

  • Analyze user behavior data to identify barriers to referral completion

  • Facilitate regular cross-functional meetings and status updates

  • Develop and optimize referral reward structures and incentive programs

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (referral rates, conversion metrics, program ROI)

  • Support the development of referral program communication materials

  • Manage project timelines and dependencies across teams

  • Study competitor referral programs and identify opportunities for improvement

Qualifications You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field

  • 3- 5 years of experience in digital marketing or growth marketing

  • Experience with referral programs or viral growth initiatives preferred

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools

  • Excellent project management and cross-functional coordination abilities

  • Experience working with legal, product, and engineering teams

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and marketing analytics platforms

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

  • Experience with A/B testing and optimization tools

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Knowledge of referral marketing best practices

  • Understanding of financial services consumer products is a plus

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities

  • Experience with agile methodologies is a plus

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is

$52800 to $136510
