FMI’s Performance Practice is seeking a high-energy, self-motivated analyst to join our consulting team. In this role, you will engage in a range of data analytics activities to help our clients make pivotal decisions about their business – strategy, business development, operations, financial and risk management, productivity and more. This is a full-time position based in our Tampa, Florida office. Candidates must either reside in the Tampa area or be willing to relocate to a reasonable commuting distance. The role follows FMI’s hybrid work model, with an expectation of being on-site at least three days per week.

Responsibilities
- Work alongside FMI consulting teams to develop analyses and data visualizations to support consulting engagements and client outcomes.
- Assist engagement teams with the practical interpretations and business implications of data analyses.
- Collect, consolidate and structure data from clients, internal databases, and external sources.
- Work with FMI’s Corporate Data Services team to continuously refine internal and external analytics processes and templates to improve project delivery efficiency and quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business, Economics, Management, Finance, Business Analytics).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).
- Advanced Excel capabilities in formulas, complex modeling, and visualizations.
- Tableau for data visualization is preferred.
- Familiarity with Python for analysis and MYSQL Workbench querying and schema design is a plus.
- Experience in Generative AI like ChatGPT is also a plus.
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a focus on clear and persuasive reporting.
- Relationship-building skills, both for team collaboration and client engagement.
- Experience or knowledge of the construction industry is beneficial but not required.
