We are looking for a People Operations Specialist to support and continuously improve our People (HR) operations in Central Europe and North Balkans, with focus on Hungary. In this role, you will deliver efficient, compliant HR administration aligned with local regulations, while contributing to process and tool improvements, vendor and contract management, and broader People initiatives.
You will be part of the EMEA Performance & Transformation - Local Administration Services (LAS) & Risk Management organization and report to the Head of LAS, South Europe & Eurasia (SEE). Working within an international team, you will collaborate closely with local stakeholders to ensure smooth and legally compliant People operations.
To succeed in this role, you bring strong attention to detail, confidence working with data and numbers, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. A basic understanding of labor law and contractual topics is an advantage. The role involves close cooperation with Finance, Legal, external providers, and other People teams. You will be based in Budapest, Hungary.
You will:
• Support the execution of People policies and processes, with a focus on international mobility• Deliver People services & support People Business Partners as necessary• Participate in projects around different People deliverables • Be knowledgeable about and understand new legislation impacting People processes• Perform administrative activities related to international mobility, reporting and employment • Manage the daily operation with our benefit partners• Support the People team with Purchase Orders related activities• Support the People Business Partners in all reporting & analytics tasks (HR controlling)• Be the 'first point of contact' to our student agencies and university liasion
To be successful in the role you must have:
• A bachelor's degree in Economics, Human Resources, or other relevant fields• 3-5 years' experience in HR / People admin or Payroll field, preferably in a multinational environment• Presentation and communication skills• Proactive, positive mindset with a strong process improvement attitude• Analytical and problem-solving skills • Skills in Microsoft Office • Proficiency in English and Hungarian languages (both are mandatory)
