About the Role:

At eBay, the People Experience team is the cornerstone of fostering an exceptional journey for both candidates and employees. We are the catalysts for business performance, seamlessly integrating with the facets of recruiting, learning and development, compensation, and benefits to propel the company's culture forward.

In the role of People Experience Manager, you will manage a team of 8-12 dedicated professionals, each responsible for managing a support queue that serves as a lifeline for our employees. Whether through chat, phone, or HR Form, our team ensures accessibility and responsiveness. Your leadership will be pivotal, requiring a nuanced understanding of what fuels the passion and efficiency of each team member. Embrace the role of a chameleon, adeptly adjusting your management style to meet the unique needs and aspirations of your direct reports, and in doing so, sculpting the very essence of eBay's workplace culture.

As a People Experience Manager You Will Accomplish:

  • Development and implementation of strategic priorities for the function.
  • Maintain and improve the overall quality of HR processes in the US, Canada and Mexico by upholding policies and procedures, performing quality checks and resolving issues.
  • Analyze and report on contact volumes to identify trends and issues, present analysis on a regular basis, enabling the team to provide extra support where required.
  • Lead regional and global projects to improve operational efficiency (e.g. continuous improvement, crafting policy documentation)
  • Provide specialist expertise and support for M&A activities.
  • Build strong working relationships with key collaborators including Payroll, People Technology & Analytics teams, Compensation, People Business Partners, Benefits and Stock Teams, ensuring the delivery of effective, efficient, and professional service.

You will Bring:

  • A dedication to working onsite in our Draper office 3+ days per week (per our Hybrid Work Model Guidelines).
  • A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • A professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP (SHRM Certified Professional) or PHR (Professional in Human Resources) is advantageous.
  • 5-7 years relevant work experience with strong People Leadership experience.
  • Proven work experience as HR Manager or related leadership experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Data driven approach to process improvement.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
