ASICS have a new and exciting opportunity for a People and Culture Coordinator to join our People and Culture team. The People and Culture Coordinator supports the delivery of our local people strategy through coordination of all facets of talent management including recruitment and selection, reward and recognition, reporting and analytics, diversity and inclusion, and employee engagement, contributing to the delivery of our business strategy by coordinating our people practices in line with the current and future needs of the business. 

In conjunction with the day-to-day responsibilities of this role, purposeful projects such as systems implementation, continuous improvement, and more lie in wait. 

Job Description

 

  • Drive ASICS’ EVP and Sound Mind Sound Body ethos and ensure these principles are promoted in all talent activities 
  • Ensuring our systems, processes, and practices are updated to align with our objective to recruit the best people to support business growth and objectives 
  • Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process to attract top talent for all roles across the business 
  • Systems administration and optimisation, including but not limited to our Applicant Tracking System and HRIS and the data that flows through the employee lifecycle 
  • Support the annual/seasonal recruitment to ensure adequate support is in place across the business, including support to group interviews and volume recruitment/assessment days 
  • Continuously review processes to ensure we are remaining relevant and delivering innovative, on-trend solutions  
  • Reporting and analysis of business trends, talent metrics, and people related KPIs – including but not limited to headcount reporting, diversity reporting and other reporting as required 
  • Maintain organisational charts and meet the team communication initiatives 
  • Champion people and culture communication, engagement, Sound Mind Sound Body, and CSR initiatives 
  • Coordinate and champion local Sustainability and Diversity and Inclusion initiatives 
  • Support the effective and efficient onboarding and offboarding of all team members 
  • Rewards program coordination and/or administration

Qualifications

 

  • Experience in a human resources administration role is preferred 
  • Completed or working towards tertiary qualifications within human resources 
  • Ability to develop strong and mutually trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Experience with recruitment and HR management platforms such as SuccessFactors and SmartRecruiters will be highly regarded 
  • Proven record and/or ability in always maintaining confidentiality 
  • Driven and proactive individual who is accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment and has proven capacity to work well under pressure 
  • Organised and self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously 
  • Driven to continuously improve both yourself and the business 
  • Understands the importance of thinking strategically and aligning the people and culture agenda with department, regional and global goals.
