Manager, Commerce Media Advertiser Development, Australia Hunt Pod Lead
Overview:
The Manager, Commerce Media Advertiser Development, Australia Hunt Pod Lead leads advertiser development for the region and sources advertiser card-linked offers/ads budgets directly from advertisers and partners in their region. They will report to the Mastercard Commerce Media East Division Lead.
Role & Responsibilities: • Lead Commerce Media Advertiser Development sales in the region; managing full funnel of sales activities from identifying relevant advertisers for Commerce Media, to developing the advertiser pipeline, prospecting, pitching to merchants, and closing sales for card-linked offers/ads and affiliate programs. • Leads a team of Advertiser Development resources within their pod, developing and ensuring achievement of assigned regional objectives and regional revenue targets.• Responsible for aligning with local market and global team on opportunities pipeline and product roadmap to ensure merchant offers are available to meet new and existing publisher opportunities. • Identify any gaps in the region and develop a strategy to close them through direct sales and partnerships. • Responsible to ensure team is onboarding merchants and managing content to meet market needs. • Manage merchant relationships, including conducting regular client meetings to review program performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring merchant billing is completed. • Develop new and manage existing merchant partnerships, including contracts and onboarding to deliver quality content at scale and supplement direct sales in the region. • Coordinate across regions to unlock global merchant offers opportunities.• Collaborates with the Revenue Enablement team to ensure coverage and product needs are being met to support their team.• Coordinate with East Division Lead to ensure coverage meets global goals and objectives.
All About You: • Proven leader in Advertiser business development.• Experienced at Business Development within Advertising, speaks the language and knows how the industry works. • Expert in card-linked offers and affiliate marketing programs, has established merchant network. • Strong communication and commercial abilities, both written and verbal, with the capacity to foster positive relationships with internal and external partners at all levels. • Previous experience in merchant loyalty marketing or a related field of digital marketing is preferred. • Proven ability to act with a persistent and urgent approach to tasks. • Proficient in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint). • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a keen attention to detail. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional team-building capabilities. • Preferred candidate has prior sales leadership experience and relationships within the region/market they lead.
