What We'll Bring:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Network Penetration Testing Technical Coordinator to join our cybersecurity team. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with project management skills to coordinate technical assessments with the business and third parties.What You'll Bring:
This role's primary reponsibilities will be as a technical coordinator for network pentest requests. As requests come in from global sources, you will be responsible for:
- Evaluating requests for assignment and direction of network pentesting resources
- Coordinate with the business to establish timelines, expectations, and answer technical questions
- Manage the network pentesting calendar, the backlog of requests, projecting workflows
- Ensure testing scope and expectations are set in accordance with business policies and compliance requirements
- Coordinate internal business units with external 3rd party consultancies to facilitate pentest delivery
- Track testing progress, deliverables, and deadlines
- Oversee and trigger automations in ingesting findings
- Maintain records of completed tests, findings, and remediation status
Impact You'll Make:
The ideal candidate will be:
- Detail oriented - Many small details will have to be kept track of to ensure compliant delivery of pentests
- Effective time management - You will be expected to self direct after the initial ramp up and training period
- Sufficiently technical - You will not be performing penetration tests themselves but you must understand basic networking and security concepts
- Ownership - You will own this responsibility fully
