For an international technology organization delivering large-scale digital and operational transformation programs, we are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to support a payroll transformation initiative in Poland.
As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a key role in the transition to a new payroll vendor and processes, ensuring smooth migration, accurate payroll delivery, and strong collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners. You will be involved in critical project phases including go-live and hypercare, while also contributing to process improvements and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support payroll transformation activities, including data migration, go-live, and hypercare phases.
- Collaborate closely with the external payroll vendor to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Validate payroll inputs and perform payroll reconciliations in line with defined controls and checklists.
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies in cooperation with internal teams and the vendor.
- Prepare, analyze, and review standard and ad-hoc payroll reports.
- Maintain payroll documentation and ensure audit-ready records in compliance with policies and regulations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required payroll data and documentation.
- Handle complex payroll-related queries from employees and stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvements in payroll processes, controls, and service delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist, preferably with exposure to payroll transformations, vendor transitions, or system implementations.
- Strong knowledge of Polish payroll regulations and processes.
- High level of accuracy and strong analytical skills.
- Fluent English (written and spoken); Polish is a plus.
- Availability to work on a B2B contract and be based in Poland.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model (1–2 days per week on-site in Wrocław preferred); remote possible for highly experienced candidates.
