The Payroll Associate provides administrative and operational support to the Payroll team by assisting in payroll processing, final pay preparation, payroll monitoring, and employee payroll concerns. The role ensures payroll records are accurate and payroll-related tasks are completed on time.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in processing payroll by preparing and validating payroll-related data
Prepare weekly final pay computations for resigned employees
Track HR-endorsed clearance forms and coordinate final pay release schedules
Update payroll summaries and prepare supporting documents for review
Coordinate with HR and Accounting regarding payroll-related requirements
Prepare BIR Form 2316 for resigned employees
Assist in preparing payroll reports and statutory contribution files
Maintain payroll trackers, including:
> Leave monitoring and validation
> Incentive tracking
> Allowance computation
> Salary-on-hold monitoring
> Payroll dispute tracking
Respond to basic payroll-related inquiries via email and chat
Assist the Payroll team with year-end payroll activities and other administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any field
At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in payroll, HR, accounting, or a related administrative role
Basic knowledge of payroll processes and Microsoft Excel
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
Willing to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
Amenable to a hybrid work setup (2 days onsite in Eastwood, Quezon City and 3 days work-from-home)
