We’re looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our Payroll Services team, reporting to the Senior Payroll Manager. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of client pension payrolls and employee payrolls while maintaining compliance with statutory regulations.
What we’re looking for
✔️ Understanding and experience of payroll administration
✔️ Strong Excel skills and confidence in working with financial data
✔️ Ability to manage multiple payrolls while meeting strict deadlines
✔️ A proactive and organised approach with great attention to detail
✔️ Experience with Workday or PBS Accord (desirable but not essential)
What you’ll be doing
Client payroll:
-
Processing pension payrolls, ensuring timely and accurate payments (using PBS Accord)

Reconciling payroll bank accounts and maintaining master spreadsheets

Managing tax codes, verifying payroll data, and issuing payslips

Liaising with client relationship managers and consultants to ensure correct payment details
Employee payroll:

Handling payroll transactions, including new starters, deductions, and benefits

Responding to employee payroll queries and processing pay-impacting documents

Uploading and verifying payroll data in Workday

Setting up payments to third parties (e.g. pensions, benefits providers)
