People Business Partner advising leaders on employment law, employee relations, organizational change, acquisitions, TUPE, succession planning, compensation processes, payroll, and the full employee lifecycle. The role coaches managers, supports Workday and HR operations, manages projects, and helps embed people strategy across business areas while ensuring compliance with changing employment and financial services regulations.

Manage group credit control and accounts receivable operations, including cash collection, credit risk assessment, overdue payment follow-up, payment-plan negotiation, bad debt provisions, aged debt reporting, cash-flow forecasting, and month-end and year-end receivables schedules. Maintain customer payment records in Dynamics 365, support inherited-debt integration, and provide review and training support to junior finance staff.

Build and lead the firm-wide learning and development function, including onboarding, capability frameworks, learning pathways, manager training, digital content, LMS administration, and a monthly Learning Council. Partner with existing training academies and stakeholders across the business, support acquisition integration, and connect learning initiatives to business outcomes.

Manage and administer a portfolio of SIPP, SASS, and personal wealth clients as their primary contact. Build trusted client relationships, resolve queries, coordinate with consultants, prepare documents, manage workflows, arrange meetings, and support vulnerable clients. The role requires strong pensions or personal wealth administration experience, excellent communication, attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Provide trusted executive support to the Finance Director by managing inboxes, complex diaries, correspondence, deadlines, meetings, board and audit preparation, travel, expenses, and information management. Coordinate with executive assistants and stakeholders, track actions and deliverables, support finance projects and acquisitions, improve processes using technology and AI, and mentor colleagues while maintaining discretion and sound judgment.

Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L and balance sheet reports; lead month-end close, reconciliations, variance analysis and revenue reporting. Maintain financial controls, support statutory reporting and audits, and improve reporting processes across multiple entities and revenue streams.

Owns day-to-day delivery of the Training and Competence scheme across the Wealth Division. Responsibilities include supporting supervision, coordinating audits, maintaining regulatory records, managing Fit and Proper certification and SPS tracking, producing CPD and management information reports, supporting training, improving processes, and liaising with senior stakeholders, systems teams, and LMS providers. The role ensures compliance with FCA SYSC, SM&CR, and Certified Person obligations.

Own the target enterprise architecture for a growing, acquisition-led wealth management group. Define technology strategy, rationalize platforms, establish integration and AI architecture standards, guide engineering teams and vendors through delivery, and advise senior leadership on major technology decisions and acquisition due diligence.

Lead Mattioli Woods’ Group-wide Data & AI strategy, roadmap, governance, architecture, analytics, automation, and responsible AI practices. Build data foundations and quality controls across an acquisitive, FCA-regulated organization; identify workflow improvements; deliver AI and analytics into production; and build a high-performing internal team supported by specialist partners. The role involves communicating investment cases and outcomes to the CIO and Executive Committee.

Own the Group tax agenda, including UK corporation tax compliance, VAT, current and deferred tax reporting, restructuring, acquisition due diligence, tax governance, R&D claims, forecasting, and Making Tax Digital readiness. Manage HMRC and adviser relationships, support audits, improve tax systems and controls, and advise senior finance colleagues and subsidiary boards. The role also contributes to tax strategy, process development, and junior colleague development.

Manage a portfolio of pension and personal wealth clients, support consultants with documentation and workflows, handle client queries, maintain compliant and accurate records, track case progress, and stay current with industry developments.
