As a Partner Consultant, you will act as a strategic advisor and technical expert, bridging the gap between sales strategy and customer success. You will take ownership of the technical solution strategy, translating ambiguous partner requirements into scalable approaches while identifying risks early to influence deal strategy and recommend vital solution trade-offs.
Your work guides partners through their entire journey with Xero, from initial solution design and technical scoping to guided migration and implementation. By leveraging deep product and accounting knowledge, you ensure our partners achieve maximum long-term value, turning technical success into lasting platform advocacy.

You will join a collaborative team that sits at the intersection of Sales, Product, and our Accounting Partners. We work closely together to ensure our customers have the right technical foundations to thrive, sharing market feedback internally to help shape the future of our software.
The team is currently working on
Leading technical scoping and solution design to create documented, prescriptive plans for partner success.
Developing and delivering customised product demonstrations that showcase how our platform solves unique workflow challenges.
Guiding new partners through technical implementation and migration, mapping workflow changes to ensure smooth adoption.
Driving "sell through" activities by presenting at industry events to educate the community on platform expansion.

You bring deep operational experience within an accounting or bookkeeping firm, allowing you to speak the language of our partners fluently.
A talent for leading technical discovery in complex environments and defining clear solution strategies for diverse stakeholders is essential.
You possess the ability to translate intricate technical concepts into persuasive, clear stories for both training sessions and executive presentations.
Solving problems comes naturally to you, especially when it involves diagnosing technical hurdles and providing actionable solutions.
You enjoy collaborating across sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure the customer remains at the heart of every decision.
Background in pre-sales, technical account management, or professional services would be a fantastic addition to the team.
