Paid Search Specialist – North America Commerce
With a deep knowledge of the current search landscape and eCommerce, the Paid Search Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing paid search initiatives for Specialized in the US and Canada to achieve the channel’s performance goals.
Summary
You’ll own the creation and execution of the paid search ecommerce strategy with guidance and support from the NAM Ecommerce Sr. Marketing Manager. The individual for this role should have thorough experience working in Google and Microsoft Ads platforms, proficient in end-to-end campaign execution and optimizations, managing a budget, and reporting on performance. The ideal candidate will be able to self-manage to drive projects forward, communicate ideas and performance clearly with partners, and a continuous learner of the trends in both the cycling and PPC space.
How you’ll make a difference
- Manage the paid search strategy for North America Ecommerce to meet channel goals and performance KPIs, being the go-to specialist for anything and everything paid search.
- Establish benchmarks and develop a measurement strategy to determine overall performance and the success of implemented initiatives over time.
- Own the paid search budget and monitor pacing of channels, campaigns, and tactics to ensure they align to planned spend and performance goals.
- Lead the paid search agency to ensure performance and ROI goals are being met.
- Collaborate with USA Marketing team to strengthen Specialized’s full funnel marketing strategy leading to increased acquisition and conversion.
- Work closely with stakeholders to align product and category priority and inventory, matching paid search strategies accordingly.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends, platform changes, and competitive landscape in the Paid Search space.
What you need to win
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in paid search for a B2C eCommerce brand, ideally selling physical products. Experience managing multiple product categories, new product launches, and key seasonal moments.
- Strong proficiency working within Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Merchant Center.
- Track record for concepting, implementing, and measuring successful marketing strategies.
- Strong understanding and ability to use Google Analytics.
- Ability to analyze data, think creatively and exhibit curiosity to keep on learning new technologies and practices.
- Excellent interpersonal communications skills.
- High level of passion and enthusiasm for outdoor lifestyle in general and cycling in particular!
- Compensation: $60-$80k annuall
