The Race Engineer serves as the engineering liaison between Specialized, elite athletes, race teams, and product organizations. They translate rider feedback, race observations, and performance data into product requirements and engineering solutions; define testing and validation programs; design prototypes; analyze performance; and support races, training camps, supplier visits, and product development. The role requires deep cycling, aerodynamics, biomechanics, CAD, testing, and communication expertise, plus extensive travel.

Supports photo shoots and studio operations by assisting with equipment and lighting setup, maintaining photography gear, organizing studio inventory, and coordinating tasks to keep creative projects running smoothly. Requires strong organization, multitasking, attention to detail, communication, teamwork, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Develop and implement end-to-end costing models, including should-cost analysis, engineered part costing, scenario modeling, and cost-driver analysis.
