About this opportunity:

Our focus areas include CS Core, PS Core, IMS, IP Core, and Cloud. This role plays an integral part in Managed Services deliveries, reflecting the standards set by the Ericsson Operations Engine.

- Leadership responsibility: Technical leadership of virtual squads, no line reports
What you will do:
- Provide global PACO domain expertise and technical authority support towards MS operations, domain support and automated operations teams.
- Develop, validate and maintain solutions based on automation use case candidates for PACO domains (self-driven / federated automation).
- Investigate and resolve complex issues in PACO automation components, data pipelines and domain configurations.
- Improve and drive recovery processes and advanced troubleshooting practices for PACO services.
- Develop, maintain and improve automated Service Delivery methodologies and best practices for PACO domains.
- Perform trend and KPI analysis to proactively detect potential failures, degradations and systemic issues.
- Contribute to standardization of ways of working, technical methods and reference architectures across markets/contracts in PACO.
- Initiate and support problem management for recurring and high-impact PACO issues, ensuring robust RCA and action plans.
- Initiate and manage 3rd level functional escalations towards internal R&D or external vendors for PACO products.
- Interact with suppliers and partners on complex PACO issues, ensuring efficient collaboration and follow-up.
- Support KPI formulae analysis, degradation investigation and troubleshooting for PACO performance indicators.
Candidate Prerequisites:
Qualification and Industry Experience:
- Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunications or equivalent.
- 18+ years industry experience in telecommunications / IT, with significant focus on PACO domains (EPC, 5GC, PCC, Charging, etc.).
- Proven expertise in operation and troubleshooting of multi-vendor PACO environments (physical, virtualized and cloud-native).
- Experience working in multi-customer and/or global delivery environments.
- Experience with service KPIs, changes and incident/problem management processes (ITIL-aligned).
- Experience in remote and/or on-site operations for PACO networks and services.
Certifications and Training (Preferred/Required):
- ETCP Associate- Primary Eligibility & ETCP expert/equivalent is preferred
- Relevant vendor or industry certifications in PACO / Core / Cloud domains (e.g. 4G/5G Core, PCC, Charging).
- Training/experience in automation, scripting, data analytics or AIOps is a strong advantage.
