Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated Outsourced Legal Records Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of legal records, ensuring the accuracy, security, and accessibility of critical client data at our customer’s location in Chicago, Illinois.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
Manage the comprehensive file lifecycle—including digital creation, high-volume scanning, and daily inventory tracking—to ensure all legal records are accurate and immediately accessible for firm staff.
Collaborate with legal stakeholders to coordinate seamless file transfers, off-site archiving, and secure shredding processes.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards and legal industry regulations by performing regular inventory audits and maintaining strict chain-of-custody protocols for all client records.
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
2+ years of experience in an active law firm records management environment, including specific expertise in records keeping.
Strong knowledge of legal document scanning, digital file organization, and professional archiving standards.
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while thinking strategically to resolve complex logistics or storage challenges

Reasonably expected salary range: $51,400.00 - $64,200.00Please note that an employee's starting salary may vary based on a variety of factors. Where State, Municipal, Provincial, Territorial or other legal minimum wages exceed the federal minimum wage, employees are entitled to the higher rate.
