Role: Principal Firmware Engineer
Experience: 9-15 yrs
Location: Bangalore
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will focus on building a set of pipelines for Firmware and Software agents, including security analysis submissions and software signing for internal and external builds.
Interface to and support other firmware and software teams.
Collaborating with Product Management and Manufacturing for product release activities
Required Skills & Experience:
Proficiency in UNIX/Linux shell script, Python, Perl or other scripting languages
Experience using Source Code Control systems, especially GIT
Azure DevOps build pipeline experience.
Software builds fault diagnosis and remediation.
Familiarity with software build release management principles.
Experience using CMAKE and related build tools and Linux containers.
Experience using container-based systems like Lxd/Lxc, Docker, Kvm, etc.
Significant, demonstrable Linux experience.
Knowledge of SSH, Putty, scp and other Linux remote management tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Strong oral and written communications skills
Collaborating in a team environment
