Location: Montgomery, AL
Schedule: Full-Time | 35–40 hours per week
We are looking for an experienced Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing team in Montgomery, AL! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with patients, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has hands-on orthodontic assisting experience.
What You’ll Do- Assist the orthodontist during patient appointments and procedures
- Prepare patients and treatment areas for orthodontic procedures
- Assist with bonding, debonding, wire changes, adjustments, and other orthodontic procedures
- Provide patients and parents with instructions on appliances, retainers, elastics, and at-home care
- Sterilize instruments and maintain clean, organized treatment areas
- Accurately document treatment and patient information
- Help maintain an efficient patient flow throughout the day
- Provide a friendly, positive experience for our patients and families
- Support the clinical and Admin team wherever needed
- Previous orthodontic assisting experience is required
- Dental assisting experience in a busy clinical environment
- Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, terminology, instruments, and infection-control protocols
- Strong communication and patient-service skills
- Dependable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team
- Comfortable working with children and families
- Current certifications required by the State of Alabama, as applicable
- Full-time position
- Approximately 35–40 hours per week
- Schedule may vary based on patient and practice needs
