Lead our Oracle Cloud Financials practice as Financials Team Director, combining strategic leadership with deep technical expertise. You'll manage a team of financial associates and business analysts, provide architectural guidance on complex implementations, and drive business development through scoping efforts and RFP responses. This role offers the opportunity to shape practice direction, mentor consultants, and deliver transformational financial solutions while collaborating with HCM, SCM, EPM, and Customer Support Desk leaders to enhance our delivery methodology.
This position requires 50% travel supporting customers nationwide. Work not conducted on customer site will be performed remote/in-office depending on your location.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop financial associates and business analysts
- Manage resource allocation, capacity planning, and performance evaluations
- Recruit, onboard, and retain top talent while fostering a high-performing culture
Technical Leadership
- Provide architectural guidance for complex Oracle Cloud Financials implementations
- Review technical designs and serve as escalation point for complex challenges
- Define standards, methodologies, and quality assurance processes
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with HCM, SCM, EPM, and Customer Support Desk Leads to enhance methodology
- Ensure seamless collaboration across practice areas on multi-module implementations
Business Development & Client Engagement
- Lead scoping efforts and RFP responses for new opportunities
- Present to prospective clients and participate in sales pursuits
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
Practice Management
- Define strategic direction and monitor project health and profitability
- Collaborate with leadership on practice goals and growth initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time nationwide
- 15+ years Oracle Cloud Financials (Fusion) and/or E-Business Suite Financials experience
- 5+ years hands-on Oracle Cloud Financials implementations
- 5+ years people management experience leading consulting teams
- Deep knowledge of core financial modules (GL, AP, AR, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Expenses)
- Proven experience architecting enterprise-scale implementations
- Strong business development skills including scoping, RFP responses, and C-level presentations
- Excellent collaboration and strategic thinking abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field

- Advanced Oracle Cloud modules (Revenue Management, Lease Management, Joint Venture Management)
- Oracle Cloud reporting tools (OTBI, BI Publisher, FAW, Smart View)
