The Opportunity:
Make a difference in the lives of today’s military! CACI is looking for an Oracle APEX Developer with strong technical, interpersonal, and communication skills to join our team and support our US Marine Corps (USMC) mission. The candidate will have a record of accomplishment supporting successful system and application development as well as sustainment. The position will be a remote position with possible travel to a customer site a few times annually.
Responsibilities:
- Collaboratively develop, deliver, and sustain mission critical systems for our USMC customers, delivering the right product in the execution of their mission.
- Provide software design and development expertise in support of system efforts.
- Provide support to test, integration, and deployment of the software baseline.
- Work with highly motivated teammates and management to maintain a track record of on-time and on-schedule deliveries utilizing Agile methodologies.
- Exercise effective communication skills and the ability to solve problems that are critical to our success.
Qualifications:
Required:
- MUST possess an active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related STEM degree (preferred) and 5+ years’ experience performing progressive systems engineering activities; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Experience developing applications, reports, and workflows within the Oracle APEX environment. Development includes communication with other Oracle-based products such as Oracle EBS, OID/OAM, and Oracle 19c.
- Experience working with Oracle Integrated Development Environments, such as Quest Toad and Oracle SQL Developer.
- Experience using languages and technologies such as REST and SOAP APIs, PL/SQL, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Possess proficiency and understanding technical concepts, including industry best practices for secure software development, configuration management, and documentation.
- Demonstrate self-motivation and possess excellent oral and written communication skills to collaborate on technical items with the larger team.
Desired:
- Experience supporting systems engineering for USMC-based projects.
- Possess certifications that meet or exceed DoD 8140 IAT Level II requirements (ex. CompTIA Security+).
- Experience with Agile development processes.
- Understanding of software development for cloud-based platforms.
- Possession of a relevant, current Oracle certification.
- Possession of an active Top Secret security clearance.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
